All is now set for the inaugural edition of the 3*3 basketball invitational championship tagged “hoop for hope”which will dunk off on thursday at the Indoor Sports Gynasium Hall of the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, and the organisers have hinted that the competition would definitely live up to expectaions.

The one-day competition which is supported by the Enugu State Basketball Association, will serve as a platform for talents from different parts of the metropolis and beyond coming together to showcase their scintillating and exciting skills, as well as compete for the grande prize.

According to the organisers, they are impressed with the number of partcipating teams and players that showed interest, adding that with consistent training and exposure players from the such competitions can compete at the any level of the game.

To this end, the overall winner of this year’s edition of the competition will cart home the star prize of a #100,000 while the 3 pointer winner would be rewarded with Jorfan Son of Mars Sports apparell.

Meanwhile, winner of the recently concluded Sports, Music and Culture, SMAC basketball championship, Team ADM comprising of Captain Okpara Fabian, Onyekachi Modestus, Igwebuike Kizito and Kenneth Emmanuel have confirmed their participation and readiness to win the tournament.
