INDISCIPLINE AND UNETHICAL CONDUCTS WILL NOT BE CONDONED IN ENUGU RANGERS – FIDELIS ILECHUKWU…

Newly appointed Technical Adviser of Rangers International of Enugu, Fidelis Ilechukwu has issued a severe warning to players who would be part of the club in the forthcoming Nigeria Premier Football Club, NPFL, season, demanding high level of professionalism, commitment, integrity and reliability at all times.

He made this declaration at the weekend after a football screening game between newly promoted Nigeria National League side, Coal city United against Apugo selected, at the Rangers International Training Pitch, Liberty Estate, Independence Layout.

According to him, he promised to give opportunity to any player who feels aggrieved by the decision of the hierarchy of the club to be axed from the team but insists that if the issue was as a result of indiscipline, wrongdoing and any form of misdemeanor such stance will not be accepted and will not have a place in the team.

The experienced and vastly travelled tactician admonishes players that would be part of the club on the expectations and the targets in the 2023/24 domestic football season, while pleading with the new administration to do everything within its powers to return Enugu Rangers back to its natural home ground.

On issue of grass root and developmental games, the Former Mountain of Fire and Miracles FC, Heartland FC and Plateau United gaffer hinted that they would be observing more grass root games within the state, reiterating that exceptional players from the different games would be invited to come and train with the main team.

Meanwhile, the management of the 7-time, NPFL side, Enugu Rangers have released 8 players from the squad that played for the club last Season, while the retained players are expected back in camp this weekend for full training sessions.
