The newly appointed General Manager/Chief Executive Officer of Rangers International Football Club of Enugu, Barrister Amobi Paulinus Ezeaku says the task of returning the former league champions to winning ways is a collective and achievable feat, reaffirming the backings from state government.
He made this pronouncement during a press conference with Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN), Enugu Chapter on the theme Strategic Plans and Agenda for 2003 to 2007, in Enugu, today.
According to him, the club signifies a movement of a certain race, with a rich historical background in football globally, emphasizing that they would change the narratives through professionalism, commercial developments, fostering and strengthened the identity of the club to the public.
The football administrator further stated that the club is mandated to win a domestic title within the stipulated time frame, promising that they will establish the under age teams, professionalize women football and upgrade the scouting depart impact.
Reacting to the issue of community impact, the legal luminary reiterated that the club belongs to people, they will consolidate on the satisfaction among members, launch a foundation that would support and supply local club sides with football equipment because of their immense impact
It would be recalled Barrister Ezeaku, who was the former team manager of Enugu Rangers when the club won the NPFL and AIETO titles in 2016 and 2018, is a certified UEFA and FIFA license holder after successfully completing his studies in club management.
