RANGERS INTERNATIONAL GENERAL MANAGER HINTS ON CLUB’S PROSPECT.

Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of Rangers International Football Club of Enugu, Amobi Ezeaku has hinted that despite the brilliant form the team has displayed during the second stanza of the 2023/24 Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, the team is still in progress.

He made the statement shortly after the end of proceedings of the Afrinvest/Enugu Rangers Intra Club competition, at the weekend at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium.

In his address, their primary focus is for the team to continue to improve and develop, while also expressing gratitude to the state government for its financial and moral support.

On his part, Group Managing Director, Afrinvest Limited, Prince Dr. Ike Chioke, commended the entire technical crew and backroom staff for the amazing job done, urging the team to stay focused and determined till the end of the season.

Team A under the captaincy of Austin Opara emerged overall winners on penalties 5-3 after it ended regulation time 0-0 against Team A led by Chukwudi Nwaodu.

The 3-day competition, served as an avenue for the team to continue preparations ahead of the remaining NPFL fixtures, and also for some fringe players  to break into the main squad.
