Enugu  State contingents continues to shine like a million stars  puting up impressive and scintillating display at this year’s edition of the National Para Games, in Abuja, securing more gold medals.

Team Enugu  who recorded two gold medal to increase to medals haul to 12 comprising  6 gold, 4 silver and 2 bronze, witnessed  a spectacular performance by Lekan Abdullahi  in the Para Table Tennis  men class 4/5 and Para Canoeing events of day two proceedings of the games.

Reflecting on their achievement and accomplishment in the competition, Emmanuel David and Kehinde Lawal (gold medalist )expressed optimism of winning more medals in the mixed doubles, doubles and team events.

Both players who paid glowing tributes the present administration led by Governor Peter Mbah, for the revamping and repositioning of the sports ecosystem, vowed to to live up to expectations.
