SOCCER FANS, ENTHUSIASTS SPEAKS ABOUT QATAR WORLD CUP.

All is now set for the 22nd edition of Federation of International Football Association, FIFA World Cup in the oil-rich nation of Qatar, as 32 teams from the 7 continents converge to complete for the most prestigious and glamorous football title.

Despite the absence of some noteable players being rule out due to different forms of injuries both at club and national team, the host has promised that this year’s edition will be unique and exceptional, reaffirming that they would be setting a legacy in the history of the World Cup.
Energy FM Sports correspondent, Ugo Okeiyi who went around the metropolis to sample soccer pundits and enthusiasts concerning their expectations as hostilities kicks off this weekend.
According to a businessman, Nelson Izu, he expects to see some new players emerge and also exciting football display from the competing countries, admitting that every team came with their best players to the tournament.
Also speaking, Emeka Nduka, a painter expresses his confidence about the five countries that would be representing Africa in Qatar, emphasising that the north africans teams stand a better chance to advance to the quarterfinal of the competition.
On his part, Uchenna Ezebiro, an artisan shared his sentiments concerning the overall  tournament, stating that despite the absence of some countries, he would be watching the competition.
It would be recalled that France were crowned for the second time as World champions by defeating Croatia 4-2 at the Luzhniki Stadium, Moscow, in 2018 World Cup.
