The ongoing edition of the Sports, Music and Culture (SMAC) 3*3 Basketball Invitational Championship at the Indoor Sports Gynasium Hall of the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium for teams in Enugu, Anambra and Ebonyi States enters day 2 as participating teams put up exciting and scintillating performances.

Sportszone,com.ng Correspondent, who monitored today”s proceedings noted that Black Tigers a very dorminant and imposing team defeated  Team Ebonyi  Anambra and the Lycans, Kings BA also had a 100 percent record winning all three games, the Lycans who had a bright start in the competition were edge out in their last game, while Chillers are the whipping boys of the tournament as they lost all three consective games.

In other results, Mid town shot defeated 042 Lakers (8-4), Chiefs edge pass NDA (5-2), Lions lost against Wildcats (2-4), ADM walked over Chillers (21-0), Net Rippers ripped Chiefs (5-3), Hawks defeated Underdawgs (5-2).

For the quaterfinal pairing tomorrow, Black Tigers squares up against Net Rippers in the first game that will dumk off by 3pm, the young and enterprising, Kings BA will have their hands full when they square up against Ebonyi, ADM and Wild Cats will take centre stage for a spot in the last four while the last game will witness Hawks vs Mid Town Shot.

However, othet activities lined up for tomorrow include music, dancing competition, basketball mentoring, special appearance by guest artiste, 3-point shotout and slam dunk.

 According to the organizer, the grand finale would be explosive, thrilling and acrion packed as all the qualified teams are eyeing the top pprize, adding that such programs would continue to improve and groom talents in the region.
