Head of Local Organizing Committee, Coal City Football League, Don Ben has described this year’s championship as massive, unique and highly completive, stating that the possibility of outstanding players to secure prospective and lucrative contract deals with some Nigeria Premier League teams are enormous.

He made this statement during the award and draw ceremony of the football showpiece tagged “Boolu Ogbe Season 4” at the New Berries Park, Enugu yesterday.

In his welcome address, Mr. Ben stressed on the significance of the championship and football business, appreciating the football fraternity and relevant stakeholders for making the event a success.

Also Speaking, Enugu State born FIFA Badge Referee and a passionate supporter of the competition, Patience Madu, applauded the organizers of the competition, adding that the platform has discovered so many talented players in the domestic leagues in the country.

One of the media partner’s recipients of the Award of Appreciation, General Manager, Energy FM, Okenwa Aneke, emphasized on the importance of the award, while promising that the company will continue to support grass root development and empowerment programs in the society.

The hallmark of the event was the trophy unveiling and award ceremony, as ex-players, officials, coaches, agents and football enthusiasts, from within and outside the state were present to rekindle and promote the game.
