Arrangements have been concluded for the inauguration of the new tennis executives of the Enugu Sports Club.
The event scheduled to hold at the Club’s Cinema Hall, on Sunday, 3rd August, 2025, will witness dignitaries from all works of life which include Captains of Industry, traditional rulers, businessmen, clergymen, industrialists, sports enthusiasts present and will be chaired by the Emeritus Speaker, Enugu State House of Assembly, Right Honorable Edward Ubosi.
Trustees, Patrons and members of the tennis section of the club, organizers of the event, have hinted that the new executives will oversee the operations and management of the tennis facilities, ensure smooth day-to-day functioning and excellent customer service.
According to them, they are also responsible for staff supervision, scheduling, budgeting, event planning and maintaining the quality of the club facilities.
Responding, the newly elected Captain, Tennis section, Enugu Sports Club, Chukwuma Eze, expressed delight in the position, stating that it is a call to service.
Eze, a tennis enthusiast, further urged the public and young people to get actively involved in any sporting activity, adding that it is a way of staying healthy.
