The 2026 edition of the Enugu State Football League enters the quarterfinal stage, after the successful conclusion of the preliminary stages at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium.
The competition which serves as an avenue to discover, nurture and mentor the next generation of players commenced earlier this month, as some of the young and exciting participating teams put up amazing display.
With eight teams such as Graceland FC, Mark Ozor FC, C.Sly FC, former champions (Inter FC), De Don FC, Purple Krown, AV Soccer and one more team, set to clash for the next round, the championship continues to live up to expectations.
Organizers, the Enugu State Football Association, ESFA, reaffirmed that any team that reports 15 minutes before
inspection time before match day will pay a fine of #5,000, before playing.
They further stated hinted that any
player involved in double registration will be banned for the rest of the competition.
Meanwhile, the quarterfinal
pairings will see C. Sly take on Purple Krown FC by 9am, while De Don FC will do battle with Graceland FC by 11am on
Tuesday.
On Wednesday, 24th June, at 9am AV Soccer vs Mark Ozor FC will take center stage , and Inter FC will take on a yet to be decided team by 11am
