NIGER TORNADOES BREEZED INTO ROUND OF 32 IN THE 2022 AIETO/FEDERATION CUP.

Niger Tornadoes Football Club (Minna)  today qualified to next stage of this year’s edition of the 2022 AIETO/Federation Cup as they edge pass hard tackling Dream Academy FC (Yenegoa) Cup, played at the University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus Stadium.
Attacking sensation, Shamsudeen Hashin’s brace in the first 45 mins was all the Nigeria Professional Football League side needed as they dominated and controlled proceedings from the blast of the whistle.
Dream Academy FC responded gallantly after the interval through Owugha Tonye but it was little or nothing the young team from yenegoa could do to salvage the situation despite introducing  more attacking options.
Speaking to newsmen in his post match analysis, Head Coach, Niger Tornadoes FC Abubakar Bala praised thier opponent for putting up a good fight, decribing the competition as the biggest and glamorous in the country.
On his part, Dream Academy FC Head Coach, Kenneth Opukeme was indeed disappointed that his team lost, insisting that they had a late penalty call which was not given by the center referee.
