The Enugu State Ministry of Youth and Sports has concluded plans and arrangements for the Olympic Day Run holding in Enugu.

The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Mr. Chris Mbah in a press released signed today by the Deputy Director of Information in the Ministry, Dan Onweuegbuna, confirmed that the event would commenced by 7:00a.m tommorrow at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium.

According to him, the event is in commeration of the Olympic games, which is celebrated annually across different parts of world.

He stated the objective and aspiration of the activities is symbolic is to remind sportsmen and women about 2024 Olympic games holding in Paris, France, and also to make countries prepare for the competition.

The Permanent Secretary enjoined athletes, sports administrators and enthusiasts to be part of the one-day event which will also help to keep them fit and stay healthy.
