Receiving the giant trophy won by the  contingents at the state secretariat office yesterday, the Commissioner,  who was indeed excited and satisfied over the feat, reiterating that the hostoric accomplishment is monumental and significance.

Speaking earlier, the Director of Coaching, in the Ministry, Dennis Ani, expressed immense gratitude to the Commissioner, the Ministry as well as the staff members for their moral and financial support for the athletes and officials, saying that the landmark exploits will spur the state  to do more during the fast approaching National Sports Festival later in the year.

Other speakers at the meeting which include the Director of Information, Dan Onwuegbuna; retired Director of Organizing, Boniface Onovoh; and retired Director of Coaching, Ephraim Ochonma, appreciated the present administration led by Peter Mbah, just as they acknowledged the efforts by the Commissioner which to led to the state finishing tops in the competition.
