According to him, the present administration is really disturbed about sporting activities have being halted for long due to the current situation at the stadium and also Enugu Rangers not prosecuting games in its traditional home soil.
The governor reiterated that all the necessary payments have made regarding to the laying of the synthetic pitch, assuring the fans and supporters of the club that the team would return to the stadium before the end of November.
Meanwhile, the newly appointed Technical Adviser of Enugu Rangers, Fidelis Ilechukwu has expressed confidence in the ability of his team ahead of the 2023/24 NPFL season, adding that the players have shown great determination and enthusiasm towards trainings and programs.
It would be recalled that Enugu Rangers who were placed 8th on the league log narrowly escaped relegation and also could not get a continental slot as a result of the loss of the Federation Cup final to Bendel Insurance.
