The Enugu State Football Association (ESFA) has stated that the final match of the state football/aieto cup between Nigeria National League side (NNL) Adoration Football Club and Rangers international FC would be concluded in a date yet to be decided by the association.
The decision was taken by the organiser after both sides ended goalless draw at regulation time amid heavy down pour which disrupted the game played at the Rangers international training pitch, liberty estate, independence layout.

Addressing newsmen after the game, the FA Public Relation Officer/Publicity Officer, Mr. Foster Chime hinted that the game which was halted by natural occurrence would be concluded in a later date that would be communicated to the clubs, noting that both teams having serious engagements in their respective leagues this weekend.

Reacting to whether this year’s competition lived up to expectations, General Manager, Giant Brillars FC (enugu), Okey Igbokwe expresses his reservations concerning the tournament, adding that almost all the quarterfinals games ended in penalties.
Recall that Enugu Rangers won the Aieto/federation cup in 2018 after a dramatic comeback from three goals deficit against Kano Pillars FC to clinch the coverted trophy after 35 years at the Stephen Okechukwu Stadium, Asaba, Delta State.
