Despite taken an early lead from an Onyekachi Dubem strike at the edge of the penalty area for Independence Layout, it was Pius Adindu, Chibuzo Eze and Wilson Ajaero who at the end of regulation time sealed a spot for team Nkanu into the main event with a 3-1 victory in the ongoing 2022 Coal City Football League play-offs.
